Each week, TSN. Adrian Phillips Jersey .ca Fantasy Editor Scott Cullen and NFL Editor Ben Fisher discuss three hot fantasy football topics. In light of their big games in Week 11, which perpetual QB2 are you more confident can keep up their strong play, Ben Roethlisberger or Carson Palmer? Cullen: I definitely prefer Roethlisberger. Not that he doesnt have issues, but when Big Ben goes off, he has some huge games – over 350 yards four times this season and he has thrown for four touchdowns in two of the last three weeks. He also has a decent number of options, with WR Jerricho Cotchery, TE Heath Miller and RB LeVeon Bell playing strong complementary roles in the passing game behind No. 1 receiver Antonio Brown. As for Palmer, hes been better the last three weeks – with two TD passes in each of the last three games – but how much of that has to do with playing Atlanta, Houston and Jacksonville? With more interceptions than touchdown passes, I dont trust Palmer yet. Fisher: Since their Week 5 bye, when the Steelers finally starting winning more games than they were losing, Roethlisberger has had two huge weeks, and four very mediocre ones. Palmer meanwhile is farther down in total points among QBs this season but could be considered the more consistent of the two lately. The difference in their low level performances is negligible but Roethlisberger has more of a penchant for breakout weeks. Plus the Steelers have an easier remaining schedule; Im going with Big Ben. Has Ryan Mathews worked his way back to RB2 status with his play of late? Cullen: Yes, Mathews is okay to consider as RB2. Hes not as consistent as Danny Woodhead, but Mathews has put up double-digit fantasy points in four of the last five games, thats good enough for a second running back. You just have to know there will be a week in which he comes up way short of expectations because thats what he does. Fisher: Mathews has put up RB2 or better performances in a little over half his games this year. The other games he was a fantasy team killer. But hes been playing much better of late with four of his last five outings decent ones. I like him as an RB2 because his play has justified at worst a full workload moving forward which should cut out the truly terrible statlines, and at best more red zone and third down opportunities which should lead to more touchdowns and catches. Can Harry Douglas continue to play at a WR2 level the rest of the season? Cullen: Douglas value is tied so closely to the health of Roddy White. So long as White is working his way back and not at 100%, then Douglas will get the looks necessary to put up good numbers – like the 535 receiving yards he has over the last five weeks – but if White is ever healthy enough to be Matt Ryans top target, then I could see Douglas value declining. So far this season, betting against White has been the successful course of action. Fisher: With the Falcons leaning more heavily on pass than run, and Roddy White still garnering the attention of opposing defences top cornerback, I think Douglas is worth 80 yards per week moving forward, maybe more if Atlanta continues to struggle (garbage yards in catch-up mode). That alone nearly makes him worth a start as a WR2; if he can find the end zone more often – he only has two touchdowns since filling in as a starter – his spot would be more secure. Joe Barksdale Jersey . The veteran NFL receiver received his work permit and is in Montreal for the start of the Alouettes rookie camp. Johnson even took in the Montreal Canadiens Game 5 win over the New York Rangers at the Bell Centre Tuesday night. Joey Bosa Jersey . The former central defender calmly nodded it down and quietly went about celebrating a win with his staff. For a man who has had a lot on his shoulders this season, it was an appropriate moment. http://www.chargersauthenticshop.com/Chargers-Rayshawn-Jenkins-Draft-Jersey/ . -- Catriona Matthew remained atop the Airbus LPGA Classic leaderboard Friday, birdieing four of the last seven holes to take a one-stroke advantage over Charley Hull into the weekend. NASHVILLE -- Jake Locker helped the Titans end a skid against the San Diego Chargers that spanned two states and two decades. Locker threw a 34-yard touchdown pass to rookie Justin Hunter with 15 seconds left and the Titans rallied to beat San Diego 20-17 Sunday. It was their first win over the Chargers for the franchise since 1992 when the team was in Houston and Titans coach Mike Munchak still was playing for the then-Oilers. The Titans (2-1) had lost nine straight to San Diego in the skid before Locker connected with Hunter for the rookies first catch in the NFL. "Honestly, once I threw it and saw them both jump to go up for it, it was so much higher than the guy guarding him, I started celebrating," Locker said of his winning pass. Locker ended the slide by completing seven passes to six different receivers for 94 yards on the game-winning drive. The eighth overall draft pick in 2011 finished with 299 yards passing and also ran for 68 yards and another touchdown. "Thats a huge game for him and this football team again," Munchak said of Locker. The Chargers final play featured seven laterals and even a kick of the ball trying to keep it alive before the game ended. San Diego (1-2) led most of the game despite being banged up with three starters out because of injuries, a fourth very limited and a fifth lost to an injured foot in the first half. "We had every opportunity to win the football game with the guys who were playing, we just didnt get it done at the end," Chargers coach Mike McCoy said. The Titans outgained San Diego 452-277 yards with Nate Washington catching eight passes for 131 yards. Chris Johnson also ran 19 times for 90 yards. Titans receiver Kenny Britt, booed heavily when he dropped the first pass of the game, was on the sideline throughout the final drive and finished without a catch despite five passes thrown to him. Tennessee overcame a missed field goal and 10 penalties for 110 yards in the first half. The Titans were flagged only once in the second half. They also lost two timeouts when Munchak lost replay challenges in the second half. San Diego came in with right tackle D.J. Fluker sidelined by a concussion, receiver Malcolm Floyd out with a neck injury, cornerback Shareece Wright out with a hamstring injury. Linebacker Donald Butler was announced as inaactive before San Diego made a late change scratching Tourek Williams instead. Denzel Perryman Jersey. Butler was very limited by an injured groin. Left guard Chad Rinehart hurt his foot in the first half and didnt return. "Yes, the answer was a mistake on our part," Chargers coach Mike McCoy said of the confusion over the scratches. The Titans only sacked Philip Rivers twice. Still, the Chargers looked ready to win their second straight road game when Ronnie Brown capped a 67-yard drive with a 1-yard TD run with 2:42 left in the third quarter for a 17-10 lead. Rivers put San Diego up 7-0 with a 7-yard TD pass to Antonio Gates to cap the Chargers opening drive. But Tennessee blocked a 38-yard field goal attempt Nick Novak to end the first half, and the teams were tied at 10 at halftime. The Chargers had plenty of chances to build a lead but couldnt take advantage. Officials wiped out a TD pass to Eddie Royal for offensive pass interference on Keenan Allen, starting for Floyd. Then Rivers tried too hard to plead his case with an official who flagged the quarterback for unsportsmanlike conduct, giving the Chargers first-and-goal at the Titans 30. Rivers said he didnt say anything out of line but that was no excuse for drawing a penalty. "They did take a touchdown off the board there," Rivers said. "I havent seen the replay to know if it was the right call or not. Obviously, thats why I was so upset. That was a big play in the game when a touchdown gets called back." San Diego settled for a 44-yard field goal by Nick Novak for a 10-3 lead late in the second quarter. The Titans had their chances as well. Hunter nearly had his first NFL catch and TD in the second quarter except a defender got an arm in early. The Titans wound up punting with punter Brett Kern bobbling the ball, setting up Novaks field goal. The Titans also settled for two field goals by Rob Bironas, who also missed a 43-yarder wide right. Notes: Rivers had been 6-0 against Tennessee ... The Titans have yet to turn the ball over this season ... The Titans are 4-1 when Locker has a passer rating of 90 or higher. He finished with a rating of 96.6 ... The Titans have won three of their past four home openers ... San Diego left tackle King Dunlap also got hurt late, but McCoy said he hadnt heard about all the injuries yet.
